Into the Abyss - How a Police State is Started

Well well, it is Monday 23rd March 2020, the Police State of Australia is being evoked federally, statewide, and local council shutdowns.

The entire population of Australia is being advised federally to minimise contact or adventure or going out or just about anything except Netflix.

Pubs to be closed.
Clubs to be closed.
Nightclubs to be closed.
Gyms to be closed.
Cafes to be closed.
Restaurants to be closed.
Cinemas to be closed.

Schools to be kept open, so students can be trained that their parents are contagious and bad, bad Mum, bad Dad, bad Grandma, Bad Grandpa, bad everybody except the left leaning teachers who have been itching for such bureaucratic control over the youngest and most insecure.

So here we are, with borders shut down, albeit not literally but figuratively, the "State" being involved in paying those affected, increasing a reliance on welfare, determining who can be open and who has to close all to reduce the spread of a virus that will inevitably affect about 60% of the population, all in the attempt to not swamp the health system, that is not up to scratch for this sort of epidemic/pandemic, with ailing older people, all because well because.

Our rights trampled, our needs dismissed, our wants denied, but only a should, not a must. So basically we can still do what we want but the herd mentality does cut in and most will comply with the request to deny.

How long will it last is a piece of string, and that is what the bureaucrats want, control over your very being, from cradle to grave, power for powers sake. The hardest part will be wresting control over things once the nation gets back to some normality.
