Ms Gillard is at it again, spinning webs of deception with more and more lies. Why Timmy and her cabinet put up with this sort of behaviour is beyond the thoughts of most honest people, except to believe that those around her are just as tainted.
No Carbon Dioxide tax was the biggie, the latest is not knowing about imported workers for West Australia's magnificent mines.
It is no wonder that the ALP is languishing in the polls, you cannot believe a thing they say. As I have said for a long time, the Liberals will give you a hand up if you are willing to take it, the ALP wants to drag everyone into the same gutter they love to roll in, manure, muck and all. The Greens do not even want a gutter created, just a shit ditch will do for them.
The economic catastrophe that this ALP government is continuing to ply onto Australia is gaining speed. I speak to people in business and in work regularly and when I ask them how things are going, they all have the same answer. Economic activity is down, especially with the domestic market. Those discretionary dollars are not being spent, fear and uncertainly of the forthcoming CO2 tax, as well as disbelief in this dysfunctional Government is driving demand from the market.
The current Emperor is walking around with no clothes on, why cannot we have a new Emperor, one who will, at the least, wear budgie smugglers.

ABC at it again
ABC tonight picked on the miners in 4 Corners, the whole programme was pro-union and anti-business.
Q & A carried on with picking on the miners from a jammed packed left of politics panel.
In the middle was Media Watch, having a go at business and extolling the view that the ABC would not pay for an interview. Thank God our, taxpayers, money is not being spent even more on interviews by the ABC.
The ABC workers need to understand how retail business works, not on handouts but on wealth creation. The money created by business pays the bills for the ABC, it needs to balance itself or the ship is in serious danger of toppling over.

Back off Barry
Scipione is out of control with his thought bubble about changing our way of life with alcohol. He is a non drinker and he should instead be more concerned with the real criminals in our society, the illegal drug dealers who get our kids hooked on marijuana, speed, cocaine, heroin and other such substances.
Kids and adults will try and abuse any mind altering sustances, it is the way of things that happen in any society and with most animals.
All humans will be susceptible to any substances that are available, it is stated in the Darwin Awards that some will destroy themselves and others stay on the right path.
Sure, throw the book at those that abuse life whilst under the influence of a drug, including the grog. The slippery road to prohibition will encourage those who wish to use substances, the illegal and uncontrolled ones, which are much more onerous to society than a couple of drinks.
Prostitution, murder, theft, all things associated with illegal drugs.
Most parents will try to educate their kids about responsible drinking, others will encourage abuse. Find those offenders and deal with them, not cast a net over everyone.
Underground illegal behavior is much more offensive to societly than legal use of substances. Discouraging drinking will push people to try other abuses. No taxes on those illegal substances makes them attractive to the entrepeneurs so there is a case to "legalise" them and bring them under state control. Banning most but allowing some substances as in Brave New World spells this possibility out but it not a pretty ending.
We still live in a free society, can say what we want and carry on our lives behind closed doors as we see fit. The State should stay out of our lives if we afford no harm to others.
Barry should tell Scipione to back off and chase the real bandits.

Carbon Tax, a job destroyer
Just heard on the radio that an aluminium smelter in Kurri Kurri is to close down, eliminating close to 350 jobs.
The main reason given was the forthcoming carbon dioxide tax would make the smelter unviable.
This should make the Greens happy, less demand from those unfortunate ex-workers, so other manufacturers will create less, just like a bird flying around in ever decreasing circles, until it disappears up its own orifice.
Roots and berries, with the occasional caught animal sounds the go.

Is Craig Thomsom a Grub?
So if Mr Thomson declares that he can account for 3 or 4 incidences of credit card charges for prostitutes are caused by others, ipso facto, the other 3 or 4 are not being disputed by him.
Why would those trying to set him up go to those lengths if they already had the "evidence" on him as to misappropriation of funds?

Gobal Warming and Cooling
Well, after all, there may be some explanation for Global Warming and Global Cooling
A Green Paradise
I am sure this is the type of lifestyle the Green's have in mind for us all, all except them. Imagine the great marketplace, selling and trading firewood for warmth and cooking, bartering mud for huts and houses, selling water in clay pots, homespun cloth for all. Eco friendly bikes for transport would of course be considered a luxury, after all, the carbon dioxide cost involved in creating them would be enormous.
Time to think
With so much going on in our lives, it is necessary to sometimes sit back and smell the roses, that after all, depend on CO2 for their life.
Read a book, listen to music, chat to friends. Chill out and relax.

Further to previous post
If you have ever worked for yourself, set up a company or have been self employed, you would know how to make wealth if you are switched on and aware.
You understand that taxes will have to be paid and to take some wealth out yourself you will provide quality goods for payment.
You know how to spend sensibly to allow yourself to live on what you create.
If you have never worked for yourself, or are employed by the public sector, you most likely think of income as coming from those wealth creators to pay your way. You do not understand the risks involved and the pitfalls that could happen. For you, it is just money there for you to use.
Small, medium and large business create all the wealth that this country exists upon.

Givers and Takers
Those on the left think that they are owed some form of existence by the State, those on the right look after themselves and also pay the taxes for those on the left to exist.
Those on the right will build a house to live in, those on the left will demand a house to live in.
Those on the right will set up shop and trade goods, those on the left will demand some recompense from those on the right without those on the left adding value to those goods.
Those on the right support themselves and those on the left expect others to look after them.
Those on the right will employ those on the left to create wealth and income for themselves and their workers, taking all the risks themselves, those on the left will expect to get more than their worth from those on the right without taking any risks.
Overtaxing will stop those on the right taking due risks, those on the left will still expect their due.
Creating and giving will wither and fail if the rewards are not fair, those who take will continue to expect reward without adding to the formula.
We must allow a society to reward the risk takers so they can reward the non-risk takers.
Again, end of story.

Facts of Life
Just watched a show that had someone arguing about same sex parents. Let me say this, it is a "Fact Of Life" that you need a female egg and a male sperm to make life.
You cannot make life from two homosexuals having sex, just like you cannot make life from two lesbians having sex.
You can make life in a test tube, but only from a female egg and a male sperm.
So ipso facto, life creation can only be between a man and a woman.
So go with the flow, a man and a woman should only be parents to children.
Case ended.

The Green agenda - just great
I read this the other day, it seems to be pretty much on the money - "The green agenda is to put the few remaining human beings back into mud huts. No mining, no drilling, no plowing, no smelting, no lauching, no research, no teaching, no production of electricity, no vaccinations, no innoculations, no worship, no philosophy, no reading, no writing, no juries, no elections, no dissent, no talking back. Just feelings."

A dog ate my homework
Given Craig Thompson's excuses and charges of complicity and conspiracy against others, all I can say is a dog must have ate his homework.
I would suggest that Mr Thompson see someone associated with the Health Services Union, as in a visit to a Psychiatrist. Craig is obviously seeing things that any ordinary person would call delusional.
I guess we will soon see Ms Gillard expressing her confidence in this reprobated man.

Obama gone
Barack Obama has just signified that he intends to lose the upcoming 2012 Presidential election by his stated support of gay marriage. What support he has in the bible belt will quickly melt away, he has made a major tactical blunder in this announcement.

More lies from the ALP
Budget time and it has all gone to shit. Promised tax cuts to business not on. More money for those who do nothing. less money to defend ourselves. Slight of hand tricks to "deliver" a surplus. The NBN, costing up to $50 Billion, not on the balance sheet but considered an "investment".
This grubby Government, led by Ms Julia Gillard, has yet again being true to form and is lying its way through this process. She is gone for all money.

I can say what I want
Currently, with no one reading my blog, I can say what I want.
No authority or proposed authority can intefere with what I say.
So here we go.
If you are on the dole, get of it and get a job. If you cannot get a job that you want take whatever you can get until you get the job you want. If you need further education to get the job you want, then get educated. You should not be able to sit there expecting other taxpayers to fund your non working lifestyle.
If you want medical procedures, then pay for them, or at least, take out insurance to help you cover the costs for your chosen procedures. Other people should not have to pay for your health, it is personal choice.
If you want to live in your own house, then either rent or buy it. Do not expect taxpayers to shell out coin for you to live in a house. See the bit above about getting a job for the funds.
If you want that flat screen TV then save and buy it, or apply to a bank for a credit card. Do not wait for a government handout.

Life going Forward
We went to the moon so interplanetary travel (if the moon is considered another planet) is possible.
The next big step is is interstellar travel.
It will take generations to create, and then some, after that we will have to travel for generations to get to those other stellar systems.
It can be done, it will be done, and Isaac Asimov will rest easy to see what he perceived.
We, humans, will go to the stars, we will inhabit other planets, and we will be dominant in this solar system and beyond that. It will come down to time, cost, impetus and desire to go beyond our present reach, but it will be done. Unfortunately, not in my lifetime, but my children may, I hope, take my thoughts beyond this globe.
The universe is unending and as our thought collectively is, we can go beyond the gulf that presently separates us from the cosmos.

Warm and Cuddly
What a wonderful idea that illegal refugees should be boarded out to Australian homes, besides helping Wayne balance the books it will allow some wonderful Australians show their generosity.
First up is Kate Blanchett and hubby Andrew Upton and their three boys, I am sure they would love to share their $10 million mansion with some other characters who would naturally be as concerned as Kate and co about climate change.
Next up would be Julia and Timmy, after all they have 2 houses, no kids, so lots of spare bedrooms for Mohammed and his brothers.
Thirdly, Bob Brown and his husband, again, 2 houses, no kids, and I am sure Mohammed and his friends would enjoy the type of games that Bobby plays.
Sarah Hanson-Young and her young 5 year old daughter have no men in their life, so they would be jumping up and down to be first in line for a spot of Arabian delight.
The list could go on endlessly.

Car costs
Just bought another car for the first born, don't ask why, it just had to be done. Transferred the rego to my name and it cost me 3.4% of the purchase price. Why? I did not go into an office and deal with a staffer to perform this action, I used the internet and interfaced with a computer. Barry needs to deal with this sort of outrageous charge.
Banks, great institutions.
The ANZ. Big bank, great institution. Employs lots of people who do their best to do nothing for their customers except keep those customers funds with the bank. I had dealings with the bank yesterday where I was trying to access some of MY funds on deposit with the bank, all at the banks express wish for me to utilise those funds. I was told by the bank that I could not access my funds because my account was under "review". I asked why and was told that I could not be told. Yes that is right, I was told that I could not be told the reason why I could not access my funds. Great institution.
Turn the logo of ANZ upside down and you will see a pig snout, planted firmly in your trough.

Surprise, surprise, the NSW Police have finally performed an action against their union cousins at the HSU. They expect to spend most of the day there, drinking coffee and eating doughnuts, they may also collect some evidence in relation to rorting of union funds and other such tawdry details.
The plods look like they have finally been pushed into action by Barry, and about time.
This whole episode with the HSU should go to a Royal Commission at both State's and Federal levels.
The ALP grassroots members will not regard this scene as being helpful at all to their cause, the kiddies at home alone with no parental supervision, eating all the cookies and drinking all the alcohol, then trying to hide the evidence.
Hopefully the voters of Australia will wake up from their torpor and give this mob, The ALP, the biggest kick in the backside ever.
