Sunday roast and tax

Lamb Roast tonight, with lots of garlic and rosemary, roasted vegies as well, a nice glass of wine and I will be ready for another hard week at the coal face.

Another week of work under the current tax arrangements and then the Carbon Dioxide tax enters our lives.

I do not think the world will end but more and more people will find they have less money to consume things as this Carbon Dioxide tax will soak up any leftover spill from the essentials of life.

This will affect consumer confidence, as it already has, less money being spent to keep the rats on the treadmill of life. Less tax, more borrowings and an ever tightening belt will cause our economic activity to contract. This is not a good thing, an active, bright and confident economy will always expand, just like our universe, a contracting economy spells terror.

The sooner we can dump this dreadful ALP government from our souls, we can start to repair the damage still being wrought on our society.
